For maternity photography it is best to book for 32+ weeks. Try not to wait too long though.
For newborn photography under 4 weeks is best. I recommend booking in advance for around 10 days after your due date, We can move the appointment if baby arrives earlier or later.
Baby milestones are great to book around 7-10 months then your baby can sit comfortably on their own and crawl.
First birthdays. Please ensure you book them at least 3 weeks before their birthday to ensure you have your image in time to share on the day.

I believe lighter neutrals are best with white, creams and greys being popular colour palettes. Jeans and a top work well, but wear what you are comfortable in. Shades of blue are also very popular for sessions.
-
I recommend bringing a special blanket or teddy if you have been gifted something like this., and something for yourself to wear But I have plenty of wraps and backgrounds for baby to lay on.

Siblings are 100% welcome to join you for a session!

The average session is 2.5 - 3 hours though. It just helps to relax everyone during the session nowing there’s plenty of time set aside.
